I've made sure that it's not a hardware problem since both my internal and external sound cards work just fine on my Mac OS partition. Checked the event log but could not find any error logs connected to sound. Uninstalled and reinstalled all sound drivers (both internal and external sound drivers) (I thought that maybe that's what enabled fast startup again and/or caused the issue) Uninstalled the latest Windows minor update. But instead I got even worse troubles as it seems my Audio I just disabled it again thinking everything would work just fine. The issue started this morning when my external sound card (Avid Mbox 3) started to have problems again which I've had before. My sound device does not start up and I get the 'Audio Service not running' error message. I'm running Win 10 on a BootCamp partition on a MacBook Pro late 2013.
